It is pretty noisy, but then people with Shoei and Sharks complain about noise. OK, Noise wise I can only compare it to the Vega Altura for that is the only other helmet I used. haven't ride with it yet still charging, but it's a decent helmet. I just bought my v-tune at toystore for R1430. It will protect the koppie adequately, just make sure the fit is good.
